Viventia Biotech Inc. is traded on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSE:VBI). Its corporate head office is located in Toronto, Canada and its research and manufacturing facility is located in Winnipeg, Canada. The Company is engaged in discovery research and product development activities to commercialize innovative therapies for the treatment of cancer. Product development focuses on the use of totally human monoclonal antibodies (MAbs) as anti-cancer agents, which are derived from the human immune response to cancer. The types of cancer addressed include melanoma, breast, colon, ovarian, lung, prostate and pancreatic. Viventia Biotech Inc. (VBI) has assembled a robust product portfolio with significant market potential. This portfolio is comprised of a pipeline of molecules ranging from products undergoing Phase I/II clinical testing to numerous product candidates that are currently undergoing screening and characterization.

VBI has certain strategic advantages over other companies in this field. Unlike many other biotechnology companies developing antibodies, VBI's MAbs are "Totally Human" in origin rather than "humanized", chimeric or derived from transgenic animals. VBI's MAbs are derived from the lymphocytes of human cancer patients, and hence target antigens that are truly relevant to the cancer condition. The Company has an experienced management team that has brought several biotech and pharmaceutical products through development to commercialization.
