Marifil Mines Ltd. (TSX-V: MFM) is a Canadian resource company exploring for precious and base metals in Argentina. This country possesses some of the world's most prolific new gold and silver discoveries and has a progressive policy towards mineral taxation and mine development. The Company has built an impressive portfolio of more than 20 precious and base metals properties. Several of these properties contain bonanza grade gold and silver values.

History:
Marifil Mines Ltd. was incorporated pursuant to the Business Corporations Act (Yukon) on December 2, 2003, and its head office is located at 1506 W. Forest Hills Drive, Spokane, WA, 99218. The Corporation's registered and records office is located at 200-204 Lambert Street, Whitehorse, Yukon Y1A 3T2.

In January 2005, the Corporation completed a share exchange agreement to acquire Marifil S.A., a privately held Argentina company which had been engaged in the business of mineral exploration in Argentina since 1996. At the time of the acquisition, Marifil S.A. held an interest in, or the right to acquire an interest in 16 mineral exploration properties located in Argentina. Marifil S.A. is now a wholly-owned subsidiary of Marifil Mines Ltd.

The Corporation is engaged in the business of mineral exploration in Argentina. Its primary objective is to locate and develop economic precious and base metals properties of merit.
