In January 2005, the
Corporation completed a
share exchange agreement
to acquire Marifil S.A.,
a privately held
Argentina company which
had been engaged in the
business of mineral
exploration in Argentina
since 1996. At the time
of the acquisition,
Marifil S.A. held an
interest in, or the
right to acquire an
interest in 16 mineral
exploration properties
located in Argentina.
Marifil S.A. is now a
wholly-owned subsidiary
of Marifil Mines Ltd.
The Corporation is
engaged in the business
of mineral exploration
in Argentina. Its
primary objective is to
locate and develop
economic precious and
base metals properties
of merit.
