Focused Gold Exploration in Burkina Faso, West Africa

Goldrush is a mineral exploration company focused on gold exploration in Burkina Faso, West Africa with an established organization of people and projects to enable aggressive growth. Through a strategic partnership with High River Gold Mines Ltd. Goldrush has the ability to access High River's processing facilities and infrastructure without incurring all the capital costs associated with developing a stand-alone mine, thereby enhancing the economics of gold deposits within trucking distance of the processing facility.

Goldrush's Ronguen Gold Discovery

In early 2006 rock sampling conducted over a 1 km long east-west trending artisanal mining site on Goldrush's Kindo Group permits yielded significant anomalous gold values over the entire area covered by the historic mining activities. Enduring artisanal mining is an excellent indicator of potential economic gold mineralization as crude artisanal mining techniques are usually productive only with grades in excess of 20 g/t gold. This highly mineralized zone was named the Ronguen Gold Discovery after a nearby village. Subsequently a 5 km baseline was established and up to the end of November, 2007, 335 rotary air blast ("RAB"), reverse circulation ("RC") and diamond core ("DD") drill holes totalling over 19,00 metres, plus 5 trenches, were completed over a 1.5 km section of the baseline. Assay results to date confirm the presence of gold mineralisation in economic grades over the entire 1.5 km drilled to date. Thus far the zone is approximately 80m wide (north-south) and 80m deep, being the maximum depth of drilling to date.

During November 2007 the latest phase of drilling and trenching was completed on the Ronguen Gold Zone. Objectives were to:

• conduct sufficient infill core drilling in the existing Ronguen Gold Zone to enable calculation of an inferred resource,
• extend the mineralised zone at depth beyond 80m,
• continue drilling along strike to test for easterly and westerly extensions of the zone,
• begin drilling on a promising parallel structure several hundred metres to the south of the main Ronguen Gold Zone.
