GobiMin Inc. is a junior mining company with nickel sulphide operations and development properties in northwestern China. The Company controls three concessions, within a 10-kilometre radius, totalling 455 hectares. In operation since 1999, GobiMin currently increases its mining capacity to approximately 330,000 tonnes of ore annually from two underground mines (Yellow Mountain East and Xiangshan). In 2006, 1,159 tonnes (2.56million pounds) of nickel and 596 tonnes (1.31 million pounds) of copper contained in concentrates were sold to Jinchuan Group Ltd., China's largest nickel producer, who holds about 11% equity interest in GobiMin.

GobiMin's immediate plan is to complete National Instrument 43-101 resource calculation in the first half of 2007. The results will permit advancing the development of its Yellow Mountain project.

GobiMin's short-term objective is to complete the scoping and feasibility study of the Yellow Mountain project in the second half of 2007 and review the current mining methods so as to optimize production. GobiMin aims to be a major player in the mining industry in China. The Company envisages increasing shareholder value through developing its existing projects and acquirement of advanced exploration projects in northwestern China.
