THE COMPANY

Beartooth Platinum Corporation (BTP:TSX-V) is a well-financed, junior resource company focused on Platinum Group Metals (PGMs).

Current assets include: 872 unpatented mining claims surrounding Stillwater Mining Company’s operation (16,000 acres) in South Central Montana (current reserves of 41.9 million tons @ 20.12 g/t (0.57 ounces) pt+pd). Beartooth conducted an 11 hole drill program on the B Chromitite zone during the 2006 field season which has yielded samples of up to 21.72g/t 3 PGEs plus Au in Hole #IM 2006-02. Drilling of the first six holes has intercepted multiple Chromitite layers in each hole.

Beartooth has an established position in one major Platinum / Palladium camp at Stillwater and is continuing to evaluate projects in the other major Platinum / Palladium mining camp—the Bushveld.

PROPERTY HIGHLIGHTS

Stillwater Project, Montana, USA

During the winter of 2004 / 05, BTP compiled over 40 years of exploration and development data for the Stillwater area. Following up from this base, the 2005 summer field season was spent conducting geologic mapping, geochemical sampling and geophysical surveying areas of potential interest. From this massive database Beartooth has identified significant strike lengths of PGM enrichment
associated with two lithological layers known as the A and B chromitites.

The B chromitite zone has previously returned surface samples from Beartooth’s claims with grades up to 3.08 ounces per ton (112 g/t) Pt+Pd+Au. In addition, resampling of core drilled by the Anaconda Mining Company in the 1980s returned an intersection of 3 feet (1 meter) grading 17 g/t Pt+Pd+Au from the B chromitite.  A review of available data for the chromitite-associated mineralization indicates an
average Pd to Pt ratio of 3.7:1, making these units Pt-rich in comparison to the better known J-M reef of the Stillwater Complex. The B chromitite is believed to be the Stillwater equivalent of the UG2 chromitite of the Bushveld complex in South Africa, which currently is responsible for over 62% of Bushveld PGM production.

During the 2006 field season Beartooth drilled 11 holes at Iron Mountain aimed at intersecting the B chromitite zone. Assay results on the first seven holes received to date confirm PGM values in six of the seven holes ranging from 1.51 g/t to 20.54 g/t.

South Africa

Over the next several months the management of Beartooth Platinum will evaluate platinum/palladium projects in the Bushveld Complex in South Africa.  The Company will continue to seek out options with partners on properties  and projects that it feels have excellent potential for platinum/palladium mineralization.
