Almaden Minerals

Our strength is our ideas. Almaden Minerals is an exploration company specialising in the generation of new mineral projects in the western half of North America, principally in British Columbia and Mexico. Our mission is to find new and exciting mineral prospects, undertake preliminary analysis to evaluate the project's potential, and joint-venture the project to a company which carries all the costs for further exploration in order to earn a share in the project.

Why invest? At Almaden we minimize the risk of investing in a mining exploration stock by 1) maintaining a large portfolio of properties and 2) optioning our properties. We currently have over 40 projects at various stages of development, 15 of which are currently joint ventured, and we are constantly generating new ideas. Our team of geological engineers, geologists, and prospectors have over a hundred years of world-wide geological experience and have a proven record of discoveries.

Almaden is based in Vancouver on the west coast of Canada and listed on both the TSX Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX: AMM) and the American Stock Exchange (AMEX: AAU).
